Digital Locker — private document vault per customer

Digital Locker is a private per-customer storage for photos, PDFs, and any file you want tied to that customer. It syncs across your own devices but is never shared with a synced or linked party.

What it is — and what it is not

Digital Locker is a private cabinet, one per customer. Files live on your phone and in your private cloud backup, so they appear on every device you sign in to. There is no shared Locker. Anything you want the other party to see must be attached to a transaction as a proof — and even then, deleting it later goes through Bill Approval.

Before you start

  • Signed in to VyajPay.
  • Customer must exist.
  • Camera permission for capture; no permission needed for gallery or file picker.
  • File ≤ 10 MB.
Privacy guarantee
Locker files are private to your account. A linked customer or borrower never sees what is inside your Locker — they only see proofs you attach to specific transactions.

Step-by-step

  1. Open Customer Detail

From Khata or Borrowers, tap the customer you want to attach a document to.
  2. Tap the folder icon

In the sticky header at the top of Customer Detail, look for the folder icon. Tap it to open Digital Locker for this customer.
  3. Add a document

Tap the blue + button in the top-right (or “Add Your First Document” when empty). Choose Camera, Gallery, or File Picker.
  4. Wait for upload

The file saves on your device first, then uploads in the background. A progress indicator shows when it is fully backed up.
  5. Use, share, or delete

Tap any document to view full-size. Tap the trash icon to delete — the document is removed from all your devices.
