Practical information about protecting your VyajPay account, device and shared bookkeeping records.

Protections and limits

Network traffic uses HTTPS and Firebase provides cloud-storage safeguards. App Lock supports PIN and biometrics. Biometric templates are held by the operating system. Local ledger storage is not encrypted by VyajPay and cloud sync is not end-to-end encryption.

Access controls and account verification help restrict service access, but we do not claim bank-grade security or guarantee every record is accessible only to its owner. Security findings and changes require ongoing review.

Protect records you share

Keep your device locked, do not share OTPs or PINs, and treat downloaded statements and document links as confidential. A shared link or exported file may remain accessible to its recipient. Mask identity documents and avoid storing unnecessary personal details.

Email contact@vyajpay.com with affected feature, date and a description. Do not include another person’s private records or exploit an issue to access their information. You can also contact the Grievance Officer.
