WhatsApp reminders — opt-in and management

VyajPay can send payment reminders to your borrowers (and to you, as a borrower) on WhatsApp via approved templates. The toggle lives under Settings → Notifications and respects Meta opt-in compliance.

Android iOS

Before you start

  • Phone verified (Settings → Edit Profile).
  • The toggle is hidden if WhatsApp is remotely disabled — check back later.
Saved across devices
Your choice is saved with your VyajPay account, so switching to a new phone keeps the same preference automatically.

Step-by-step

  1. Open Settings → Notifications

    Scroll to the Notifications section.
  2. Toggle WhatsApp Reminders on

On first enable, VyajPay shows an explanatory card (or onboarding screen) describing the kinds of messages you’ll receive: payment reminders, account updates, service notifications. Tap Enable.
  3. Verify the test message

VyajPay sends a test WhatsApp message to your verified number to confirm delivery works.
  4. Manage per-borrower

Inside a borrower or customer record, you can opt-out specific recipients while keeping the global toggle on.
