Frequently asked questions
Yes. A borrower can have any number of active or closed loans. Each is its own card on Borrower Detail. The ledger sums totals across all loans.
Unlink breaks the sync with the borrower. VyajPay blocks unlink while any loan is active or any balance is owed. Typical messages: "Ledger cannot be unlinked while active loans exist…" or "…outstanding balance of {amount}…"
No. VyajPay shows: "Mobile number cannot be changed for synced borrowers." Unlink first if a change is needed.
Payment history stays untouched. Reopening simply marks the loan active again, and outstanding is recalculated from the existing payments and the original schedule.
Once the ledger is synced, your payments and the borrower’s payments update on both devices in real time. Both sides see the same balance within seconds.
