Step-by-step
Add the customer first
Batch scan lives inside Customer Detail. Open the Khata tab, tap +, save the customer with a name (phone optional). Open the new customer to land on Customer Detail.Tap the floating + button
On the bottom-right of Customer Detail there is a blue FAB (floating action button) with a + icon. Tap it.Pick Camera Scan
The menu shows: Camera Scan (AI multi-entry), Gallery Import, and How it works. Pick Camera Scan to capture live. Grant camera permission on first use.Snap the whole page
Hold the phone steady. Frame the entire khata page so every row is visible. One photo is enough — multiple rows are extracted from this single image.Review in the Batch Scan sheet
A list opens with one card per detected entry. Each row is editable: amount, note, type (Gave / Got), date. A running total sits at the top of the sheet.Save all or dismiss
Tap Save to write every entry to the customer’s ledger. Each entry gets the original image attached as a proof. Tap Dismiss to discard the scan with no writes.
Frequently asked questions

Batch scan attaches every extracted entry to one customer. The FAB is only visible inside Customer Detail, so a customer must exist before you can launch the scan.
There is no fixed cap, but readability is the limit. A clean A4-style khata page with 10–25 rows works well. Very crowded or blurry pages may miss rows — the review sheet lets you add the missed ones manually.
Yes. Every row in the review sheet is editable. Change amount, note, type (Gave / Got), and date. Delete a row by swiping it.
Yes. The captured image is saved as a proof on every entry that came from it, so the full page stays linked to the data extracted from it. Proofs live in the Digital Locker for that customer.
One batch capture uses one AI batch credit, regardless of how many rows are extracted. If you exhaust the daily limit you see "Daily AI limit reached."
