Delete VyajPay account — 30-day recovery window

Deleting your account ends your VyajPay use but gives you a 30-day grace period. If you log in again within 30 days, your account is restored exactly as you left it. A completed 30-day recovery window does not confirm that every cloud copy has been erased. Request written confirmation from support.

Request deletion without the app

Use the account deletion request form or email contact@vyajpay.com. You do not need to reinstall. Cancel store subscriptions separately; deletion does not stop renewals.

Before you start

  • Signed in.
  • Phone verified (OTP is sent to your verified number).

Step-by-step

  1. Open Settings → Danger Zone

    Scroll to the bottom of Settings. Tap Delete Account.

  2. Authenticate with OTP

    VyajPay sends a one-time code to your verified phone (or asks for your password). Enter it to continue.

  3. Read the confirmation dialog

    Title: "Delete Account". Body: "Check the current in-app notice. Deletion starts a 30-day recovery window; support can confirm the eventual removal and retention exceptions."

  4. Tap Delete Account

    A progress dialog shows: "Deleting account..." → "Removing all your data..." → "Clearing local data...".

  5. You are signed out

    You are logged out from every device. All app data on this phone is cleared. The app returns to the login screen.

Frequently asked questions

On tap: your phone is signed out, files on the device are cleared, and your VyajPay sign-in is invalidated. For 30 days: your account and records are kept hidden as a recovery snapshot — sign in again to restore. After the recovery window: request confirmation of deletion, including backup and scan copies and any legally retained records.
Within the 30-day window, just sign in again with the same phone number. VyajPay detects the pending deletion and restores your records exactly as they were.
On their device, the records you shared with them are marked as belonging to a deleted account. They keep their copy of the ledger, but live updates from your side stop. Recover within 30 days and the sync starts again automatically.
Yes. Your number stops receiving WhatsApp messages from VyajPay right away. After recovery, toggle WhatsApp Reminders back on in Settings to resume.
